I hope I haven't bored you too much with my church shots of lately but this is the last for the day. And this is the church of Santa Maria Egiziaca in Via Umberto I, Naples, as we walked back to our hotel from the train terminus when we returned from Pompei. We learned from a shop keeper that it had been raining the whole day in Naples while not a single drop fell at Pompei. So we were lucky on the particular day.

the old churches are always interesting and steeped in history and cultures, something we do not find here in the southern hemisphere. I really enjoy these shots
