FORT ST. ELMO by sangwann

FORT ST. ELMO

Naples - day 7.
Fort St Elmo is at the top of the highest point of Naples. The lighting in this scene reminded me of Caravaggio and his 'Çhiaro oscuro' paintings. Entering the front gate we had a 50 to 70 metre steep walk through this tunnel-like passage to the main part of the fort.
Thank you for looking, for your comments and for the fav's. - always appreciated.
All those wonderful curves and the lovely textures - combined with the lighting - makes a great image.
