Took this shot with my mobile a few days ago when we went to Valletta on a Saturday evening before the start of the Christmas season. This was a new find for me. It must pre-date the use of mechanical transport when the only means of transport depended on horses, or, perhaps, mules. It seems to have been recently restored and the new lighting brought out all its beauty. A restoration project beautifully accomplished.
