A couple of weeks ago I went to Buskett along with Max for the morning’s walk. These are three shots that I took.
Buskett is the Maltese variation of the Italian word ‘Boscetto’ meaning grove. During the days of the Knights of the Order of St John & Malta it served as a hunting place and close to it a hunting lodge was built in 1586 which was expanded into a palace during the reign of Hugues Loubenx de Verdalle. The palace which takes the name of the Grand Master, Verdala Palace, is today the official residence of the President of the Republic of Malta.
Thank you for the amazing response to my post of yesterday.
Lovely collage and narrative. Max is a lucky young man to hang out with such an inspirational grandfather. I hope he carries on with your artistic eye in photography.
