Shot taken Saturday before last after I had promised myself that after the success of my sunrise pictures of some days before that I would make an effort to go again before we changed to Winter time. It finished up as a disaster or a funny occasion in the end.
I went first to the Victoria Lines at Għargħur but after setting up the camera in pitch darkness decided to change location and drove like mad to Baħar iċ-Ċagħaq. Here too I didn’t like and sped to Sliema hoping to be in time. Found a parking very close to the rocky beach near the historic Watch Tower sped down to the beach, set up the camera on the tripod and aimed at the colours of the early morning. But the camera would not snap and I found that the battery had gone dead. So, suddenly I remembered I had my mob which I had charged the previous day and used it instead. I took many pictures and although my mobile does not have the sophisticated camera like you can have today it took good shots.
The pole with the 3 fishes is a wind vane I think installed some years ago - I don't know if it works. The buildings ar apartment blocks along the Sliema seafront.
Thank you very uch for your views, comments and fav's on yesterday's picture.
