Had to take the bus to Inverness as my train was cancelled. This was the Cromarty Firth looking west, from my seat in the bus!
I rather enjoyed the journey (just an hour) and there were some pretty dramatic views due to the stormy conditions along the route.
Three good things
1. Walked to the bus stop - Mum and Dad didn't need to come out in the cold!
2. Bus connected with train with 5 minutes to spare
3. Getting home - Allan met me and thanks to M&S he had tea in the oven in no time at all!

Thanks for your comments....It felt quite cosy in the bus and I was glad it felt fine when crossing the Kessock Bridge which is quite high.☺
