Sitting in the warmth of the sun at the patio window and noticing the damaged buds on the hydrangea. It was doing so well. And I'd trimmed the taller one behind which I have had for several years.
Hmmm...here's hoping milder weather comes before too long.
Three good things.
1. A good walk to the papershop though we took a short cut off the bypass as the wind was so bitter again.
2. Coffee and shortbread...
we were going to go out but snowflakes appeared.. sorting will continue!
3. Some really meaningful tributes to HRH Duke of Edinburgh. I think it's rather lovely that Covid arrangements meant the Royal couple could have a gentle year together at Windsor, out of the public glare.
Plus a quiet funeral hopefully which is what Prince Phillip would have wanted & the Queen will be able to grieve in relative privacy.
This photo could be taken in our garden. I have pos waiting to be planted out, I think I should do a bit this weekend!

Sad news about Price Philip although I think we've all been expecting it over the last few months. I hope he gets the quiet send off that I'm sure he would want
