November..... really by sarah19

November..... really

We've had a gentle week....mild days that are rather unusual. We did have lovely weather two years ago at the time of Mum's passing but last night and today have been quite extraordinary.
Allan was cutting the grass....after some very wet days the overnight breeze had dried EVERYTHING.
And I was clearing overgrown things, sorting out pots and dealing with weeds between the patio slabs. Totally overdressed for this weather!!
Three good things
1. Lovely to sit having some soup at lunchtime with our bifold doors open and great autumn colours in the garden.
2. Walk to the Co-op....and bumping my stepcount to over 11,000. Best for a while.
3 Dinner with our lovely neighbours later, and time to see the photos of their son's wedding last weekend.
A lovely view out into your garden!

Such a lovely scene - so inviting to sit there. Love the idea of double doors that open to such a wonderful view.

A similar day to us then Sallie, Harry mowed our lawn too, might be last chance we get!
Love that view through your doors…two years since mum died, that’s flown by! 🥰
