It was a beautiful day, blue sky, sunshine and a gentle breeze. Washing blowing on the line and a quick tidy up and away we went. A short drive to Stonehaven and a lovely wander around the town centre, delicious lunch at an excellent tea room.... eating outdoors in the light....and then a stroll along the beachwalk.
It's one of our favourite places close to home and so many different things to see and find.
Three good things
1. Brilliant blue sky.
2. Mini meal....it's plenty for me. Pea & ham soup, cheese scone, lovely cup of tea - china cup & saucer - and delightful millionaire biscoff on matching plate. Allan had a delicious quiche with lovely salad etc.
3. Colourful flowers in unexpected places and a stop at Barra Berries for some strawberries when nearly home.
