It's rather curious the way this has turned out! I took it with my phone and there wasn't a lot of light in the room so all the colours in the background are coming from the tree lights and their reflections in tinsel etc. The walls are actually cream colour!!
Anyway here it is and I'm glad it is up and finished as it felt like a rather long task - was wishing Laura and Susannah were at home to help with it all.
Three good things
1 Lovely sunshine going up to church even though the wind was chilly
2 Enjoyed reading all the stories I have recorded over the years of where the different ornaments came from. Some have been with us for over 30 years and others added each year since!
3 Skype time with Finnley and his mum and dad today - he's just 6 weeks old but is so alert ......wish we could have a hug but that won't be for a while! And Connor isn't feeling well so he was asleep most of the time! Hope he feels better soon!
Lovely low light showing the beautiful glow from the tree lights. We haven't got ours up yet just the one outside in the garden. Hope your little Connor is soon better. You sound like you have all your decorations beautifully put away in boxes with their details?
@gijsje@happypat Thank you!
Pat I sat down one year as I put all the decorations away and wrote little stories on labels for each set .....Some in boxes, some in snack bags! I thought the history of them all might be interesting for future generations, hee hee. They're not worth much in the grand scheme of things but they're our treasure.
