Lovely gift by sarah19

Lovely gift

My wee sister (!) arranged for a birthday gift at this fabulous glass making studio in Tain so I took a wander down to collect it. Rather beautifully packaged and inside a delightful decanter and two glasses. Nothing mass produced about this!! They have a very unique shape and style.
Three good things.
1. Sunshine and blue skies
2. TESCO shop with Mum and her friend
3. Gifts made in Tain, where I grew up, are so special and there are some beautiful items available - pottery, glassware, silver and more!!
How exciting Sallie & a lovely present, I think half the pleasure is drinking out of a lovely glass. Funnily enough our DIL once bought us a gift on line for our wedding anniversary from our local glas making studio which is called Glasssform. We didn't know what we were getting either, a lovely surprise!

@happypat oh I do agree Pat. What you're drinking from makes all the difference. Wonder if our glass makers know about each other! !

@sarah19 Perhaps, our man is quite well known. John Ditchfield if you go in again any time. You can watch him work too. I love his light shades best, have one or two myself & the Cartford Inn have all hand made by him ones.
