Allan was working at Pitmedden Garden today so was away early......and I stayed in bed with the radio on. By the time I got up the sun was out and the garden looking gloriously green. While we were away in desert places it had been very, very wet here! I haven't seen water in some of the places I found it today!
But the green is such an awesome contrast to the desert and if I had to choose it would be the green. A cashmere jumper, warm scarf and my boots did what was needed to keep the chill out!
Three good things
1. Waking up at home in my own bed!
2. Memories of a wonderful week and special times with our little grandsons
3. Lots of washing done and put away!
A massive difference seeing all the green & trees around. Temperatures too would be a big contrast but you must have had a fantastic week in a completely new place.
