So many colourful flowers are just a delight. I'm happy with lots of things I planted this year especially the sweet peas and they love to be cut so more grow. Fabulous scent too. The nasturtiums are like triffids...
masses of green.....means soil too rich .... but underneath are lots of flowers and i cut them for fun.
Three good things
1. Lots of visitors to see mum. She has so many lovely friends.
2. Garden time.....lots of chickweed to clear....but thrilled to find my carrots have grown well! Dad would have been delighted too!
3. Big book sort.....oh what dust collects in between some ancient volumes bought at book sales in his young days. Nothing valuable and now interesting to see what we decided to keep on the shelves.
