Fetched my mother from hospital today where she has been again for another blood transfusion. Went to the charity shop afterwards to drop off another big bag of my Dad's old clothes and other stuff. Charity shop is just around the corner from the harbour so decided to just stop by there before coming home. She really enjoyed just sitting in the car watching the fishermen and smelling the lovely ocean smell through the open windows
@cottiac Yes it was a beautiful day - and yes, we mostly have sunshine. In fact we are in the midst of a serious drought with some dams down to only 30% full, so rain would be cause for elation.
@anniesue Yes absolutely food for the soul. I didn't realise how much my mother would enjoy that extra few km of drive to the harbour until we were there and I opened the windows and she was immediately smiling and commenting on the smell of the sea
