On the streets

Decided to stop in at a little car wash on Koeberg Road - the kind where one person manually washes the car, and then a little team get busy drying it and vacuuming inside. Koeberg Road is quite a "rough" area where I wouldn't normally stop my car and certainly not get out with my camera or bag, so it was a novelty to grab some shots from the relative safety of the car wash environs

@genealogygenie Thanks so much, Kim. I was struck by the colours of his home and front door, and the colours of his clothing so I was determined to grab the shot when I saw it

@anniesue Thanks Annie-Sue. When I saw him standing there I asked him if I could photograph him (this is not an area where the word "shoot" would go down well as I think there is gang violence and shootings) and he acquiesced and did me the courtesy of looking at me
