Green Lake Blue Heron

This Blue Heron was standing near a dock at Green Lake when I spotted him. It's about a three-mile walk around Green Lake. This shot was taken at the end of my walk which was a nice surprise. Thanks for stopping by and wishing you all a pleasant day.

@jetr Joan -- They hydro races are on Lake Washington. Green Lake is where the ducks and other water birds are and it's a great place for kids, adults and anyone who loves to walk.

@seattlite I've seen them in both locations! They were discontinued on Green Lake because of the noise.
