Every year about this time, these water birds come around the rocky shoreline of Alki Beach. I'm never sure if these birds are Black Turnstone or some other water bird. Perhaps some of your bird watchers know the correct name for this bird. This shot was taken yesterday. Thanks for stopping by.
I have never seen a bird like this before so can't identify it for sure, but I Googled Black Turnstone and the pictures that come up definitely look like your bird.
