We visited my son and his partner, and while the two ladies chatted and prepared dinner (well Shepherdman’s Wife chatted while Kate cooked) my son I took our dogs out around the local fields and country park, a short walk from their home. My two thoroughly enjoyed unfamiliar territory, and playing with my son’s dog Phil, as indeed did I, and the walk passed quickly for all of us –it was nice for us blokes to chat, even though we see each quite often. This ornithological masterpiece was perched in Brocks Hill Country Park near Oadby, Leicestershire.
