Taking on the waves (once again)

First day back at work after our holiday, and as well as getting back in the routine of the working day its time to get back into the routine of 365. The arrival of two young granddaughters, who joined us with parents on our holiday, somewhat distracted me from uploading, what with active days, bedtime stories, and sinking exhausted onto the sofa with a beer. And so here is one just picked out at random from my extensive selection of holiday photos – Tia about to take on the sea once again, only to be repelled by a sudden, and apparently unpredictable, advance by the waves, which refused turn and retreat despite being barked at, at least not until Tia’s back was turned.

It's a beautiful photo that must make you long for vacation time. It's amazing how exhausting it can be to have little ones around after not having that as a daily part of life.
