After I got finished with my walk this morning on the beach, I decided to cross Rt 12 and check out the sound. I found a nature trail and headed down the path to see what I could find. There standing before me was this egret.

@travelingcamper - When I first spotted it it started moving away from me and stepped into the water. Then it started flapping its wings and came back up on the shore. I kept moving closer to it, but then two boys in a golf cart scared it away.
