We woke today, our last day of vacation to the sound of rain. It rained the whole time we loaded the cars to leave. Which in a way made it a little bit easier to leave. We are very thankful for the beautiful 7 days we had prior to this one. Thank you all for the wonderful comments on my photo of the egret yesterday!! I am most greatful!!
@kerristephens - Thank you Kerri!! We enjoyed our time away immensely!!
@vickisfotos - It certainly is Vicki!! But got talking to a waitress one night that taught us a valuable lesson. She, of course, lives on the Outer Banks, and she said that all the exciting times that people enjoy during their vacations aren't experienced by those who live there year around. That if you live there it becomes a daily routine like living any other place. She is right.
@lynnb - Thank you very much!! We stayed in a resort where there are many individual homes and some multiplex units that are rented. Not all home in the resort are rented. We stayed in a privately owned home that the owner rents out.
