It has rained most of the day. I am hoping the rain doesn't cause the leaves to fall off the trees prematurely. I was on my way home and liked the reflections on the wet road. Thank you all so much for all the wonderful comments on my photos over the past couple of days!

I don't normally do a group comment like this. Thank you all for your support and wonderful encouraging comments. Maybe I should have added to the caption yesterday that I was on my way home from the funeral home after visiting the family of a good friend and former co-worker who lost her battle with cancer. As I looked at this today, the bleak day illustrates the discomfort of losing a good friend and not seeing what lies over the hill asks the question, "What lies ahead?" Thanks again for all you kind comments! @kerristephens@janets@natr@klemieux@vickisfotos@danette@chrissieh@kwind
@skipt07 I'm so sorry for your loss. If I can be so bold as to say that for me, your picture also captures that great circle of life that we all live in. The leaves are yellow, will soon fall off and be barren, but beyond that there is always hope for the flush of spring growth.
Condolences, Skip. Our past two days have been dreary, too and I am also hoping for the leaves not to be rained away before they turn. This is an amazing shot with fantastic POV.
