Just before the parade started a police officer wrote a ticket for the out of state driver who parked right beside a pole with a "No Parking" sign on it which is on the parade route!.
@bdb3471 - This seems to be the attitude of many drivers anymore. It used to be that poor drivers were the exception, but not anymore. Rarely do you see people driving the speed limit. Everybody is in a big hurry and think speed limits or traffic laws are for other people or that they are only suggestions.
@ruthmouch - Interestingly most of the people around us that made comments indicated that they were glad to see them getting the ticket. I have a feeling this individual has parked here in the past and they never noticed the sign that was placed there temporarily to keep cars off the parade route.
@jenniferruge - No treats for them, but the borough coffers will get a treat.
@lynnb - As I mentioned in another post, I wonder if this person has parked there before, which is legal, and didn't notice the bright red lettered sign that was placed there for the parade.
@monika64 - Thank you Monika!! yes they are!
