I went back today to try and get a sharper photograph of the Honeysuckle. When I looked on the other side of the road I saw these blossoms. At first I thought they were Wild Raspberry blossoms but on a closer look I saw that they weren't. The petals and stamens resemble a Mock Orange, but I am not sure that's what it is.
It looks as though it could be mock orange, did it have a wonderful sweet smell? Either way it is very pretty and you have captured really good detail too.
@paulaw - Thank you very much Paula! I couldn't get close enough to it because of a barbed wire fence. I'll have to revisit and see if I can detect any fragrance.
@lynnb - Thank you very much Lynn! I do try as much as I can to find an angle to get a black background, but I don't always get a pure black background. While this one was fairly dark, I needed to do some editing in Photoshop to make it this dark. Removed some leaves.
@kerristephens - Thank you kerri!
@elinreppe - Thank you Elin!

@paulaw - I went back and managed to reach through the barbed wire and pick a branch. They do have a faint sweet smell!
