We planted a bed of mixed flowers on each side of our porch steps. Among them are these deep pink petunias and white with pink markings. They just overtook everything.
it is a nice zoo. I know it is famous, but I have seen equally as good of zoos. Portland (here) and Seattle (better than here) have just as nice. I bought my nephews and nieces a zoo pass to a zoo near Colorado Springs and they loved it, even got to pet giraffes! pretty sure it was Cheyenne Mt. Zoo.
We have been to the Cleveland and Pittsburgh Zoos. Pittsburgh has done a lot of remodeling and their habitats look more natural then old cages. A lot of people say they really like Cleveland's but I wasn't all that impressed. Erie, PA has a small zoo but it is great for small children.
