After enjoying lunch with my daughter and granddaughter I took some rural roads back home, stopping frequently to try and catch the Autumn colors which are progressively getting more colorful. This is an Amish farm not to far from my home.
I really like the colours here. The soft blues of the sky,and the light bright greens of the grass, punctuated by the darker trees make a lovely combination.
Beautiful shot. There is an Amish community near my parents and I love to go driving through. I'm always reluctant to "shoot" them though, as I've been told that they believe photographs capture part of their soul.
@cmuir1963 - I have heard the same thing. But I asked my neighbor's wife and she seemed surprised by that. So now I am not sure. I might ask him just in case she told me that because she might be embarrassed? I don't know. I'll let you know what I find out. Of course different settlements have different rules based on their bishop.
