I can't seem to get enough of trying to capture the perfect flower shot. So I must keep working at it. Here is a white lily that I saw this evening and did a profile shot of it.
You are I both are working for the perfect shot. This one comes mighty close in my book. But the truth is that there are no perfect shots - so we have to keep on working at it. I really like the fade to black. I'm working on that right now myself.
@tara11 - I am flattered by your wonderful comments Tara! Thank you!
@kwind - Thank you very much Kim! One of the first things I look for when shooting flowers is the least distracting background. I was glad that there was a shady area for this one.
@maggiemae - Thank you Maggie for your very kind comments!
@flyrobin - Thank you Robyn! I get excited sometimes when I can maneuver to get a black background.
@ziggy77 - Thank you Jo for your kind words and fav!
@cdonohoue - Thank you Cathy! As long as I am behind the camera there won't be any perfect pictures. It seems as though no matter what aperture I use something is slightly out of focus.
