I walked outside and saw this guy sitting on a railroad tie along the driveway. When I first saw it, it was looking away from me. I got my camera and it nicely turned and looked at me like it was posing.

This is a super picture of a mantis! Love these intriguing insects. Perhaps it's their habit of turning and looking right at you that makes them seem so personable. Fav'd, of course.
