I had a little time to kill before my photo class this evening, so I ran across the street to shoot down the coast in Laguna Beach. I had the D5100 and chose to go with a colorsketch version.
Super cool! loved the last colour sketch you did and this is just as awesome! Love the vibrant colours and it reminds me of those sketches out of the architectural home plan magazines my mom used to read, except more vibrant and modern!
This affect makes for the neatest pictures! Love how you included a bit of the pink in the corner (azaleas?). The yellows of the building and the vivid blue of the sea make this a real work of art. Fav!
Oh my! This macro project of mine has really surprised me. I mean, I never expected such amazing responses from anyone but the compliments have been over the top, including the ones from you. I don't know what to say other than a great big THANK YOU. Now though I'm feelin' the pressure! Sure hope I can maintain the quality and interest for a few more days. Hoping "Z" gets here before I trip and fall off this nice little pedestal 365 friends have kindly put me on. And what will I do when I get there to "z"? Go back to trying to be creative outside of my comfortable macro zone. Again, my thanks for your views, comments, and fav's too.
P.S. I heard about your quake. Yikes. I lived in LA in the 70s when they had a 7.something on the ol' richter scale. I can still see the walls of the hallway swaying and my dad falling down as he tried to get to my room. Hope all is well with you.
