@terryliv Thanks for the tip - someone else told me that too. My knowledge of flowers is slightly better than my knowledge of quantum physics. But my camera is forcing me to learn!
@pcoulson Got lucky on that one Peter. Was walking through the small zoo, and these just showed up in front of me. The light was just right for a photo.
Ron this is first rate close up shot. Exposure is spot on and sharp throughout with no over saturated reds and you selected a great background to show off your subject. At 150mm and F5.6 any focus stacking to get such great DOF? Fav
@grahambudd Thanks for the comments, Graham and the fav! No, no focus stacking. This was shot in an aviary at my little local zoo. There are portions where natural light streams through, and this was just a chance shot where the sunlight was concentrated on the flowers. Sometimes your timing is just lucky.
@lyndemc Aw, shucks, thanks for the fav and the kind words. The comments on your macro shots are all real. I look forward every time a new 365 day rolls around to see what great treats you've provided for us. Once again, it's a shame to see your project come to an end. Too bad we're not using the Chinese alphabet and its 10,000 characters!
