My class tonight had us shooting down on the beach at sunset. Luckily the sun popped out of the overcast sky at just the right moment. The beach in the foreground there is where Burt Lancaster and Deborah Kerr rolled around in the sand and surf in "From Here To Eternity".... satirized brilliantly in the movie Airplane!
Wonderful sunset Ron, love the horizontal light in the sky and spot on amount of detail in the foreground, what beautiful materials you have to work with,
Amazing Sunset. The Sun is always a Favorite. The Sky is like artwork ~ a different Masterpiece Every Day.
I do like how you captured the people on the beach. This shot tells so many stories.
The inclusion of the people down on the beach gives me the perspective I need to appreciate the vantage point you at. Neat fact about the movie scene. Thanks for including that.
About the inside view of the walnut — that's the first time I've ever seen a heart-shaped center. It was my lucky day. Again. Thanks, some more, for your comments. I'm usually laughing by the time I finish reading yours.
@pixiemac@pcoulson@jin1x Thank You muchly all. Peter, spot on would accurately describe the dust spot that seems to have taken up residence on my sensor. Rats! Thanks for the fav, Sunkist! Another ego boost!
@simta Романтический — это хорошее слово для использования, Татьяна. На этом пляже были расстреляны несколько сцен романтический фильм. Спасибо за комментарии.
@lyndemc Funny, I was hoping the people would move along and "not spoil" my photo. Now after several comments I understand that they accent the photo nicely. As a matter of fact, there is a couple on top of the rock on the left. Happy that I can bring a smile to your face - your photos always bring pangs of envy to mine.
No, no pangs of envy, not unless I'm allowed to have them over the bright, colorful images you're able to capture left and right. Too late, I already do.
