No birds in the hand, so I had to settle for the alternative. Last shot from last weekend's zoo visit - promise! When I first spotted these two I thought they were fighting - one had the other's beak in its own beak. Turns out that's some strange mating ritual. Apparently it was good for both of them.
What strange looking birds, there is some nice colors happening here and I like the different textures with the woody nest, foliage and feathers. I like their red colored beaks!
@dianeburns@terryliv@pcoulson@marmaladeskyes Thanks very much for the comments. I forgot to mention that this is another point & shoot result. I'm a little concerned that my p&s shots come out so much better than my DSLR!!
I was here yesterday but went off in search of what these birds are (something I never figured out) and then failed to come back to write a comment. Dizzy... Anyway, great pic! lol about no birds in the hand so let's shoot the ones in the bush.
Lucky you, traveling all over the world. You've got to go to AUS so you can say you've been there as well. Besides, I wanna see the pics you'd take while there.
