...down by the sea...on a blanket with my baby is where I'll be. (That's an old song by the Drifters for those too young to recall). Same general location as the shot from two days ago. But it was a little darker by this time (and the tide was higher!)
@marmaladeskyes Wow, that was quick! Yes, it was a 1.6 sec exposure. I kept the ISO at 100, something I try hard to do in order to preserve resolution. Thanks for the comment....and for recalling an old favorite song. ;-)
@srijit Thanks Srijit! Really appreciate the fav. I am intrigued by the results one can get from slow shutter speed shots. So many possibilities. and the colors are so much richer.
Just saw this on the trending page it's wonderful Ron. Absolutely love the Drifters and so does my 22 year old son - makes a pleasant change from some of the dreadful stuff he listens to much of the time!! Fav
Fabulous composition and lighting, with the slow shutter softening the spray, stunning image Ron, Must admit to knowing the song and all the words, I have also seen them live great band in the day.
I think quite a few groups had a version of it including The Stones I think??? Oh, great photo by the way Now where were we

Well, I know what song will be stuck in my head for the rest of this day. Your fantastic shot here will be the image that comes to mind while my brain's singing away. Top notch capture here! I'm never going to get this sort of colorful image shootin' the Muddy Mississippi. :(
@pcoulson How cool to have actually seen the Drifters live, Peter! Thanks for the kind comments.
@terryliv@lyndemc We all seem to be united in our love of and knowledge of that song. Apologies for pounding the tune into your heads for whatever length of time it stayed there
