Dodging the Raindrops by stray_shooter

Dodging the Raindrops

This is the same pond shown in my former photo, sans the colorsketch option. This seagull was coming in for a landing just beyond the fountain that sprays water in the air. I was lucky enough to catch both the bird in flight plus the spray from the fountain.

Many apologies to all of those I follow and my followers for my limited ability to comment on your photos. My ability to keep up and to grab access to the internet is proving to be a challenge. However, I will be traveling back to the home base this weekend - and I vow to catch up next week!!
Very cool shot, well captured

Wonderful capture Ron Full of movement, love the raindrops across the shot and depth of field, (suspected you were out of internet range and would be back with your jovial comments sometime soon)

Love the spray of water drops, and the motion of the bird.

Good timing with the shutter button! I like how the water droplets are in motion.

@ourrube @marmaladeskyes @jin1x @888rachel Thanks for the comments. And thanks for not pointing out that the bird was totally out of focus! Chance shot.

@simta Ого у вас снега? Я надеюсь, что скоро приходит лето! Да, теперь, когда вы упомянули об этом, он выглядит немного снега, не правда? На самом деле это был просто удачный выстрел. Спасибо за комментарии.

@lyndemc More of a chance shot than a planned capture, to tell the truth. Actually it was more of a panic shot, kind of "Oh crap! Bird!!!" I was on Aperature Priority, as wide as I could go with that lens and the shutter shot at 1/320, and I still got that much motion. Did not expect that, but I'll take the result. Thank You!

Good one Ron. Focus is pretty good if the aperture was as wide as it could go.
