My hotel room in Sweden looks out on this pleasant little pond. Plenty of ducks, seagulls and other assorted birds provide plenty of photo opportunities, one of which follows shortly.
I think fountains are rather mesmerizing to watch. The colorsketch effect worked great on all that flying water. I really like the effect on the bench too.
@simta@marmaladeskyes@jin1x@888rachel Thanks for the comments. I have to emphasize that I have little hand in the processing. Although the camera does the work, I've come to learn what looks good and what doesn't when the colorsketch option is chosen, so I'll claim a small bit of the credit. Very small!
@lyndemc Thanks, Denise! The colorsketch nicely hides the fact that the fountain was pretty scummy. I don't think it's intended to be decorative, but it kind of ends up that way. Sort of like when boats sink - we photographers think it's a great photo op, the boat owner - not so much.
This is a lovely setting. Reading your comments in replies, and looking at more photos, I can see it'll be fun watching your travels and learning more about you. I've been too crazy busy recently to spend the time here that I'd like, but *maybe* it'll change in the months ahead,,,*maybe*...
