No Idea....

...what this flower is. Stalk looks somewhat like a rope. Anyone know what this is? It seems to be a tropical species as it was in a warm humid greenhouse.

But we all like red flowers against blurry green backgrounds. :-) Sorry for the group reply, but we lost power last night when I was attempting to send replies....and between that and travel I am way, way behind!
