that looks like it's alive and would sting me if i look any longer. awesome shot. i had to return the macro lens i bought because my nikon is hanging on to dear life. i don't know which way i would go with a new camera and i didn't want to get stuck with one if i wouldn't have a use for it. but i do love the results, same as you have here.
You should tag it for 30dayswild since you were out and about in the wilderness!! Seriously, great fuzzy thing macro shot!! @summerfield Just glanced at your comment above....sorry about the Nikon...:-(( Which way are you thinking of going? A lot of people seem to be switching to Sony, or some micro third, or bridge camera. If you go the Nikon way the new D750 is pretty popular, and a good full frame camera. I do love my macro lens....don't use it as much as I would like, but I am going to a workshop this coming weekend.
@thirdjoe@pcoulson@888rachel@simta@hinkkd@aglennc@terryliv@gilbertwood Sorry for the group reply, but I'm way behind and it's getting late. But since you all complimented the use of the macro and the bokeh I'll respond with my statement that a macro lens is often one's best friend on 365. ;-) Thanks for the kind comments.
@panthora Thanks, Osia. 30dayswild - I like it! Coming real soon I will be out and about in anything BUT wilderness - departing for two weeks worth of motorcycling on the asphalt ribbons. You'll see a different genre of photos then!
