Day One of the motorcycle trip saw us stumbling onto a location in Utah where people donate their used license plates to a gentleman who is making a tower out of old car plates. This pile was at least two feet thick. The tower is already about 70 feet high.
You made good use of this collection yourself. I like how the frame is filled with the plates.
I've been entertaining an 11 year old niece for a week which has kept me from viewing and commenting on other's pics. I have some catching up to do now which I very much look forward to.

Again, apologies for the group reply and sincere thanks for comments. For those that did not see it, I responded to Anita's and Louise's request for a shot of the tower itself. If you haven't seen it, you can find it here: http://365project.org/stray_shooter/365/2015-06-11 Osia, I don't think he's related to Sam Rodia. My friend, who has a home nearby said that he simply started to post the license plates on his fence and for some reason people started dropping them off at his driveway. One think lead to another and he keeps getting more and the tower continues to grow. I don't think such a think would be possible in neighborhood associations like mine control everything from the color of your shoes to type of food you're allowed to consume in your home.
This is just great... I have a wall in my living room that is quite a mess... I'd put up mirrors and one by one they fell down leaving a circular effect all over the wall... It's not very pretty. In my head I see the wall covered with license plates... Sadly I only have one that I can hang for now... Send me your license plates!
@photohoot I'd be happy to grab some of the donated plates for you, Wendy.....IF one could get them out! He's got it arranged so can give, but never get!
