Day 7 of the motorcycle adventure had us visiting San Antonio, home of the famous downtown Riverwalk. Of course with water present I was on the lookout for reflections and was rewarded with this when I saw the colorful umbrellas of one of the many restaurants.
This looks superb and colourful. On the news the other night, they had footage of a motorcyclist in the US being hit by a very large truck, and I hoped dearly that it wasn't you.
San Antonio was one of the few places I liked in Texas, that and Austin!! The Riverwalk is pretty special place.....love the reflections you got there!
@888rachel Thanks, Rachel. No, that certainly wasn't me, but I know the video you're talking about. I even posted it on my Facebook page. That was ugly!
@panthora Thanks, Osia. I agree, one of the more attractive places in Texas....although I've gained a new appreciation for the Texas Hill Country now too.
@gilbertwood Thank you, Denise. I was grateful to the owners who decided to place the colorful umbrellas where they did. I wonder if that was their intent.
@summerfield Thanks for the comment Vikki. It's always humid in Texas, and yes, it's a little muggy down at the River Walk. I found that downing several margaritas helps quite a bit.
@lyndemc Well, good to hear from you again my friend! Yeah, I've been gone for a spell and definitely was presented with some great opportunities during this little visit. Makes the stuff at home seem so mundane.....but it IS good to be home!
