Day 8 of the motorcycle adventure had us visiting Lukenbach, Texas. We didn't spot Whalen, Willie, or any of the gang, but this large and colorful rooster was hanging around the stage area.
quincey, is that you???? quincey was a fighting cock i used to take care of for the neighbour when i was 8. i think he was eventually fried or something because he disappeared one day and i never saw him again. but this one looks so much like quincey - as a remember him.
@gilbertwood Thanks, Denise. I never really noticed such colors in a rooster before - not that I've spent a lot of time studying roosters. But it did occur to me that there was actually some resemblance to the guy on the Corn Flakes box. ;-)
Really handsome fellow.....and, very colorful!! They do drive you crazy at the crack of dawn, though.....and, @lyndemc Denise was probably wringing its neck for that same reason!! ;-)))
