Beer Glass Abstract by stray_shooter

Beer Glass Abstract

Yes, that's my (empty) beer glass. As I tilted the schooner upwards, finishing off the golden elixir, I noticed through the bottom the reflection of the Christmas lights that were still present in the establishment. So I made an attempt to capture it with the ol' Nikon. Soon thereafter it was filled with the golden elixir again. I suggest enlarging it to get the black background.
so that's the secret? take a photo of an emptied glass of beer and it will be filled again? perhaps it would work with ice cream? great colours!

Love this! See if you can make anythin g of this thread http://365project.org/discuss/general/26913/art-challenge-for-2016 I like the concept, but I think pictures like this qualify as "art" as well...definitely abstract, as you say Add the tag and see if anyone yells at you!

@summerfield It's magical. As long as the glass is up in the air it becomes empty, and when it's set down it magically fills. I think I used to have a toy like this. I'm sure it would work with ice cream - maybe even margaritas!

@tigerdreamer Thanks Karen - looks bit like your sunglasses there. ;-)

@onewing Thanks Babs. I really don't know how it happens that it fills itself again - probably one of those things you don't want to chase too much lest the secret gets out.

@aglennc Thanks Anita. Beer and photos do seem to go together rather well, don't they?

@Weezilou Thanks Louise - I might just do that. I was a bit shocked to see this get to the Popular Page. I guess they couldn't yell at me too much. Thanks for the tip!
