Just another evening in paradise. Most of those boats are mine.....in my dreams. In reality the yacht club types won't let me get any closer than this.
What I learned in taking this photo: A remote shutter release would have been handy. The first couple of shots I attempted showed camera shake simply by the action of my finger on the shutter button. I had to resort to using the delayed timer to avoid shake. Coincidentally my newly purchased remote unit arrived on the doorstep this afternoon.
OMG Ron, what a great way to start my morning as I go through your photos! Your patter is hysterical! Ho-hum, yes, I know this is gorgeous as it's in the neighborhood...sorta... Funny that my angle on it is usually from a plane window as we fly out of town! (Ken laughed as I read everything to him, saying you're really enjoying your retirement!)
Wow - another shot that makes me jealous of your location. Really like how the sunset's oranges and the glow of the marina lights compliment each other. Super POV you had. LoL over your commentary.
And hey, thanks for the compliment given my red tulip pic. That was a generous one. I love the Lensbaby for what it does with peripheral lights.
Absolutely brilliant Ron.. Loving the marriage of blue/orange, in the clouds too....
to me, the rows upon rows of boats are amazing.. surely the idea of having a boat is to get away, find some peace and quiet.. or maybe it's just me who thinks that way.. great PoV..
