Uh Oh! by stray_shooter

Uh Oh!

Probably not the landing this little guy intended. A filler shot for a missed Saturday. This was taken at the same time, same location as the Big Air shot that I posted a week or so ago. This little guy was quite impressive, zipping around like a mosquito on steroids. He had great dexterity, balance and control....except in this one rare instance.
Great captured

Well, we all have to start someplace and he's brave doing it in full view.. this is another fine action shot Ron, ok not quite the action you wished for but, nevertheless...

I hope he doesn't miss school trying to practice all the time! Good shot!

Lovely action image full of drama and movement, lovely detail, timing and colour Ron:)

At least he has the helmet, elbow and knee pads..... Smarter than he might look. Fun shot. How did he land?

A perfectly timed shot and fun capture!

That's quite an audience that the kids have gathered, BTW.

Great action shot!

That's not gonna end well...but hopefully not too bad. The kid's well protected thankfully! Awesome action capture!

@olenadole Thank you Nadiya.

@jorlam Thank you Jorlam. I'll take any kind of action, soaring, crashing, you name it, they're all fun when you freeze 'em. I appreciate your time to view and comment.

@maggiemae I also hope he does not displace school with skateboarding. Judging by his good use of protective equipment, I'd guess that he's an intelligent kid. FWIW, this was taken on a Saturday. ;-)

@pcoulson Thank you kindly for all of the complimentary descriptions Peter! Always appreciated.

@aglennc I agree, Anita, he's wisely protected. If I remember correctly, he still landed on two feet - though it was at the bottom of the slope. He had great dexterity.

@jin1x Thank you kindly Miss Sunkist!

@farmreporter Thanks so much Wendy. Yes, the kids here attracted quite a crowd. All of the kids at this park were quite talented and were enjoying showing off for all. It's Venice Beach, so I'm sure there's some sort minimum skill level required just to get in the park.

@gardenfolk Thanks CC - I do love action photography. It was what drew me into the field many many years ago, and I've drifted away from it - unintentionally. I hope to do more.

@cjphoto Thanks Chris. Turns out the little guy did not need to make us of the smart protective equipment. Surprisingly I believe I remember that he landed on two feet - just not where he had intended. ;-)

You are very good, Ron at giving comments to everyone! I for one appreciate this!

Very cool. I like the tee shirt. Perhaps that is his handle!

@maggiemae I will say the same for you Maggie. I think it's important to acknowledge when someone acknowledges you. Respect for all is something I believe in strongly. I'm not always real timely, and sometimes I have to make the occasional group reply, but I will always respond one way or the other. Thanks for your kind compliment.
