Student Photographers

Photo class tonight had us shooting three unfortunate subjects who agreed to act as our models as we undertook model and portrait photography in natural late light. It was a terrific opportunity to christen my newly purchased f/2.8 70-200mm Sony zoom lens that the Easter Bunny brought me. this is why i am so not wanting to take photo class. Monique @moniqenadeau and i once did with our little point and shoot and we really were intimidated by the rest of the class with bazooka-like lenses and giant cameras. and there we thought we were cool with our Coolpix and powershots! tee-hee. that lens is to die for. or probably not! aces on the delicious dof!

You lucky fellow Ron that lens is on my wish list but my pockets are empty at the moment, but by next Easter I may have the money, like your composition, point of focus and shallow depth of field (f2.8 OMG) creating that wonderfully diffused background, no excuse I'm expecting great things from you now (Now pressure there then )
