Austin was so inviting and interesting that we decided to stay for one more day and explore around town and around the surrounding area some more. One of our stops included the historic Greune (pronounced like "green") Dance Hall, the proclaimed oldest continuously run dance hall in Texas, dating back to 1878. The original floor still is in place and has seen many, many feet, boots, and likely spilled beer. This aspiring fiddle player was roaming through the hall, apparently searching for an audition. Of course I had to grab a photo of him.
