It's Friday, and you know what that means! I thought I'd do something a little different for this week's posting. I've always had some fascination with the black feathers on the wing. They're usually hidden until the flamingo flaps its wings or does a mating dance or tries in total futility to fly.
Happy to see the Flamingo Friday is gaining some traction as I'm seeing others increasingly posting their FF shots. Big congrats to @taffy for landing her FF shot from last week as tops on this week's Top Twenty!
Beautiful!! Of course this reminds me of the women's over-sized hats in the early 1900s that had full-sized birds wings on them sometimes! A flamingo wing...that might have been pushing it a bit!
@stray_shooter Never back peddle on your age...people will think you aren't aging well! Always say you're older than you are...for this very reason ; )
