a gallimaufry of sort

for friday's mad minute word, gallimaufry means a hodgepodge; jumble; confused medley; a ragout or hash.

there's a tall ship festivities happening in the downtown toronto harbour, it seemed everyone's there to take in the festivities. i took a two-and-a-half hour lunch on Friday just to take it in. i was pooped by the time i got back to work but still managed to do a lot - since i stayed up to seven anyways.

here, in this shot, you see a gallimaufry of people, boats, ferries and airplanes. yes, airplanes, over there on the left. there are two commercial airlines operating from the west end of the islands, one of them my client, mind you. too bad the ducks and geese were too small to be made out in the shot.
Love the processing. Great shot. Interesting word.

Great choice for the word! It might be a bit too busy for the good photo but says exactly hodgepodge!

yep! It's a gallimaufry! I forgot about the Mad Minute. Darn. I had an open slot in my albums too. But I am at the lake and my brain went on vacation for a moment! So no pic for mad minute. Sigh. Yours is quite interesting!
