in the afternoon the rain seemed to have tapered off but toronto was enveloped in a haze and since then it had been damp and humid and hot. i have had three showers since this morning.
the tall ships festivities continued despite the inclement weather. at the east side of the islands, far from where the festivities were, empire sandy sailed through the thick haze and emerged like a ghost.
p.s. this was exactly how everything looked like today, hazy and blurry and ghostly.
@pattipeppermynt - you know, patti, sometimes i like to imagine you doing those things i see the crew doing. if you must know, every time i see a boat or a ship, you and/or howard @steeler would always come to mind. thank you, patti.
@denisedaly - thank you, denise. i tried to do an 'auto-fix' and it became a high key. although it was still nice, i still preferred the sooc as it showed exactly how i saw it and i liked what i saw and captured.
@danig - DG, you almost gave me a heart attack! are you posting again? welcome back (sort of? hehe!) my good friend. partner's been filling the 'empty benches' i had found all these times, but i still like to capture the emptiness as i like to picture you and me on those benches. thank you for stopping by, i like that!
@henrir - thank you, henri.
@helstor - and the haze lingers on still. thank you, erik.
