yes, a big bowl of broccoli. steamed, almost al dente but not quite. steamed not boiled. that's how i love to eat my broccoli.

for the five plus two's "primal" theme this week.

primal is defined as basic, fundamental, essential, elemental, vital, central, intrinsic, inherent.

food is a primal or essential need of humans and all living beings, large or small. to keep us alive, to keep us strong, for us to survive.

Fabulous. Love this in selective color. Perfect choice. We are a mixed family. Three of us will eat broccoli fixed in way from raw to mushy and everything in between. My husband and youngest son won't touch it.

I love my broccoli like this too! Yummy yummy! My hubby likes the small "fluffy" florets only. But I like a bit more stalk...so I get fresh broccoli or the frozen spears. Yums!

I cook mine in the pressure cooker- has the same result as a steamer. And I've always loved broccoli- even as a child. Good shot!
