onyx by summerfield

onyx

the plan was to go to chinatown to take a photo of an octopus at the wet market or maybe one hanging from the display window of one of the restaurants. no such luck, would you believe? it rained! resorted to my back up object, my onyx pendant. will try again tomorrow.

over at alia's @alia she found an 'octave': http://365project.org/alia_801/365/2014-10-03

thank you for your kind visits and comments, beautiful people; know that they are truly appreciated.
this is stunning and much prettier than a dead octopus hahahaha

Octopus and mind in the gutter and yeah, Asian porn comes to mind. Saw the strangest poster on a street in Hong Kong once

Out of the gutter and onto this lovely focus on Onyx. You created a shot worthy of a jewelry ad.

Very nice pendant I think I much prefer it to and octopus as it wouldn't be and elegant.

Pretty onyx capture - I love the sparkly background bokeh too :)

I'd rather see an onyx necklace than an octopus hanging in a restaurant window! But I'm sure it will be an interesting shot when you get it!

Is that real bokeh, or is that Sears? Cool image and processing.
